About Emily
My yoga journey started with injuries & misalignments from a car accident, eventually following advice from health professionals.
My yoga journey really deepened and became transformational through grief of losing a loved one.
Yoga was the place I felt peaceful: emotionally & physically.
It truly helped ease & eradicate some health discomforts including daily back pain, once you experience the freedom from physical aches it’s easy to commit to yoga, to commit to ‘you’, to taking care of you!
But the real game changer was the incredibly positive effect it had on my overall wellbeing, especially through a very difficult time.
I’d never aspired to be the teacher at the front of the class, ever infact, but how could I not share this “lifetool” with others when i’d experienced such an amazing shift from yoga?!
This is the reason why I started and the reason I continue to share my passion for yoga.
I studied in Thailand, trained & certified in the UK & Morocco with highly reputable ‘Yogahaven’ in 2010. Moving to Tenerife in 2012 and furthering my training Europe wide before embarking on another Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 with ‘World Peace Yoga School’ in Rishikesh, India, fondly known as “the world capital of yoga”.
I have just returned from yet another(!) 6 month soul-enriching adventure furthering my yoga experience in beautiful Bali!
I also yoga’d my way through Australia, allot of it being my own practice and teaching friends in some breathtakingly stunning spots!
I look forward to sharing some the magic I experienced on the mat now I’m settling back in Tenerife.
Yoga is a powerful tool to enhance your life, I hope you are ready to gift yourself with it!
